With the Semicon welding head family, Orbitalum presents two orbital welding heads that meet these requirements in every respect: the ORBIWELD 17 and the ORBIWELD 25 GC.

These two welding heads form an independent product line that has been specially designed for orbital TIG welding in the semiconductor industry. They combine the highest production quality with maximum functionality - optimized for use in confined spaces and demanding production environments.

• ORBIWELD 17
  The ORBIWELD 17 is the compact solution for tube diameters from 3.0 to 17.2 mm and is ideal for use in confined work areas in semiconductor production. It is available with both active liquid cooling and gas cooling, offering maximum flexibility depending on the application. The precise clamping cassette ensures exact tube alignment and enables the highest welding quality. Particularly economical: The head is ideal for use with COAX pipe systems, eliminating the need for an additional welding head.
• ORBIWELD 25 GC
  The OW 25 GC covers pipe dimensions up to 34 mm and is ideal for power-intensive applications in demanding environments. In addition to its effective gas cooling and flexible hose package, it scores particularly highly in terms of economy: its compatibility with existing orbital welding systems significantly reduces investment costs. At the same time, fast service, seamless parts supply and high availability ensure smooth operation - even when needed at short notice. A solution that is not only technically impressive, but also economically well thought out.

 

Technically well thought out - down to the last detail

Both models have a modular design and consist of a basic machine, precisely coordinated clamping cassettes and matching clamping inserts. The clamping cassette allows the pipes to be precisely aligned with each other and is compatible with standard systems on the market - this saves time and money and makes integration into existing processes easier.

A particular highlight is the integrated control panel in the handle, which enables direct control of all important functions at the point of use. Walking distances are eliminated, set-up times are reduced and operation is much more intuitive - ideal for efficient workflows in sensitive production areas.

Everything has also been thought of when it comes to ease of assembly: the removable clamping cassettes make quick changes on the construction site or in prefabrication much easier. Practical aids such as the electrode setting gauge and the pipe center gauge also ensure maximum precision during preparation - for precisely aligned weld seams in every application.
