The OWX table mount is a stable and flexible solution for securely attaching the OWX weld head directly at the workstation. It allows for ergonomic and easily accessible positioning of the weld head – ensuring comfortable, efficient, and safe working conditions.

Whether at the edge of the table, firmly screwed onto the workbench, or integrated into a custom clamping system: the table mount flexibly adapts to various working environments and ensures a firm hold in any situation. This way, the OWX weld head remains readily accessible and stable – both in use and when stored. In this video, we show you how to properly mount the holder and securely fix the weld head. How to Set Up the OWX Table Mount

 

  1. Open the clamping screw according to the thickness of your tabletop by turning it anticlockwise.
  2. Position the mounting bracket on the edge of the tabletop so that the table bracket is flush and stable.
  3. Tighten the clamping screw clockwise until the table bracket can no longer be moved by hand.
  4. To remove, loosen the clamping screw and remove the table holder from the edge of the table. Follow the steps in reverse order.

 

Properly Fixing the OWX in the Table Mount

 

  1. Make sure that the clamping lever of the table holder is not turned out too far to prevent the welding head from falling down.
  2. Loosen the clamping lever of the table holder.
  3. Hold the OWX weld head vertically by the handle and guide the lower, extended section of the mounting eyelet completely over the head of the mounting stud.
  4. Slide the mounting eyelet of the welding head from above completely over the stud in the holder until it is at the bottom.
  5. Short-term storage: If you only want to put the weld head down (parking), leave the clamping lever open. The weld head is now hooked in, but not clamped, and can be easily removed again.
  6. Stationary use: If you want to mount the weld head firmly (clamping), turn the threaded sleeve until the clamping lever can be turned with slight pressure. Fold the clamping lever all the way down. The weld head is now securely fixed and cannot slip during work.
  7. If you want to remove the weld head from the table holder, carry out the steps in reverse order.

 

Mounting the table bracket rotated by 90°

 

  1. Loosen and remove the four screws that secure the base of the table bracket to the bracket.
  2. Turn the base counterclockwise by 90°.
  3. Screw the base back onto the mounting bracket using the four screws.
  4. Open the clamping screw until the bracket fits your tabletop thickness.
  5. Place the mounting bracket on the edge of the tabletop.
  6. Tighten the clamping screw until the bracket can no longer be moved.
