Laboratory Package
The Laboratory Package includes the Mobile Welder and the ORBIWELD 17 GC welding head. The Mobile Welder is a portable orbital welding power source that has been specially developed for modern pipeline construction. It has a lightweight and compact design and impresses with its simple and intuitive operation. The enclosed, gas-cooled ORBIWELD 17 GC welding head is particularly suitable for small pipe dimensions in the range 3.0 - 17.2 mm (0.118" - 0.677"). The welding head impresses with its extremely narrow design and can be used particularly in confined spaces, as is common in the semiconductor industry. The OW 17 GC has a removable clamping cassette that can be easily positioned around the tubes to be welded during inline assembly on the construction site as well as in the prefab production of modules in the workshop. The welding head is also equipped with an integrated control panel for controlling the power source.
