The OWX bench mount is a stable and flexible solution for securely attaching the OWX welding head directly to the workstation. It enables ergonomic and easily accessible positioning of the welding head – for comfortable, efficient, and safe work.
The OWX bench mount provides stable and secure attachment of the welding head at the workstation – for ergonomic operation, quick access, and a firm hold.
Whether on the edge of the table, firmly bolted to the workbench, or integrated into a custom clamping system: the bench mount adapts flexibly to various work environments and ensures a firm hold in every situation. This keeps the OWX welding head always within reach and stable – both during use and in storage. In this video, we show you how to correctly mount the bracket and securely fix the welding head. Step by step, simply explained.
How to set up the OWX bench mount

Quick mounting on the table edge: Align the base of the bench mount parallel to the table edge so that the mounting bolt points away from the table. Slide the vice bracket into the guide groove of the base and tighten the clamping screw until the mount is stable.

Fixed bolting to the worktop: Position the base of the mount parallel to the table edge. Secure the mount directly to the worktop via the four mounting holes using suitable screws.

Integration into alternative fastening systems: Align the mount parallel to the table edge. Use the integrated rubber pad as a contact surface for the feet of screw clamps or quick-release clamps from other fastening systems. Please observe the respective assembly instructions of the alternative system.
Fixing the OWX correctly in the bench mount

Ensure that the clamping lever of the bench mount is not unscrewed too far to prevent the welding head from falling.

Loosen the clamping lever of the bench mount.

Hold the OWX welding head vertically by the handle and guide the lower, widened area of the mounting eyelet completely over the head of the mounting bolt.

Press against the stop surface of the guide groove while doing so.

Slide the mounting eyelet of the welding head from above completely over the bolt in the mount until it rests at the very bottom.

Short-term storage: If you only want to set the welding head down (parking), leave the clamping lever open. The welding head is now hooked in but not clamped and can be easily removed again.

Stationary use: If you want to mount the welding head permanently (clamping), turn the threaded sleeve until the clamping lever can be flipped with light pressure. Fold the clamping lever all the way down. The welding head is now securely fixed and cannot slip during work.

If you wish to remove the welding head from the bench mount, perform the steps in reverse order.
