Together at one table: Apprentices help out again at the Singen Vesperkirche

At the beginning of the year, the Lutherkirche in Singen becomes the “Gasthaus am Weg” (Inn on the Way) for two weeks, opening its doors to everyone who wishes to stop by. Amidst steaming plates, friendly glances, and many conversations, the essence of the Vesperkirche becomes tangible: community. A place of warmth is created in the middle of everyday life: everyone gives what they can and want—and everyone is welcome.

Commitment that connects

The Singen Vesperkirche has become an indispensable part of city life. It thrives on donations, volunteer support, and many helping hands. This year, the apprentices from Orbitalum Tools GmbH were once again involved, providing support on January 28 with food distribution, table service, and wherever help was needed.

“The Vesperkirche shows our apprentices how much an open ear, a friendly gesture, and working together can achieve, and that true encounters take place where one person listens and the other feels seen,” says Antonia Maurer, Training Coordinator at Orbitalum Tools. “This commitment strengthens not only social awareness but also team spirit.”

Orbitalum is proud to be part of this project again in 2026 with its apprentices and to actively live out its social responsibility.
